Guidelines on COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Enclosed are some guidelines from Housing & Residential Life and Campus Health.

Please postpone or cancel any events planned at the chapter house until further notice. We want to avoid community transmission at every level.

Chapter president's have been asked to hold all future chapter meetings through a virtual platform.

The University is open and will remain open. More importantly, access to campus health will remain as it normally would. Also, campus recreation, residence halls, and food services will remain open. Campus Pantry will be fully operational by Tuesday, March 17 and hold regular hours.

The University strongly suggests each facility takes proactive measures (hand soap available and Lysol) to prevent the spread of the virus. Should the chapter facility need to be decontaminated, please consult the Global Biorisk Advisory Council website for guidance and resources. Additionally, please contact your inter/national organization on suggested guidelines and procedures.

If you are thinking about closing your facility, please remember the impact it may have on a member. Some students rely on your facility and may have nowhere else to go if it is closed. The same goes for food. If meal services are suspended, members may not have the financial means to buy/order food. Please think of these situations if you are considering closing your facility. Our top priority is the health and safety of our community. Please remember that we are all responsible for our community’s well-being.
